Contest: name the recipe collection & blog!

Yes, the recipes from Fr. Jake's will live on...

We're going to set up a blog to collect the recipes everyone saved from the days of stopping the trolls and breaking virtual bread. So start looking in those files, think of vignettes and otherwise get ready to start the coffee hour. My fellow zookeeper, Fred, offered to help get everything into a PDF file when we are finished with the first collection.

Now - the contest...and there is a *prize for the winner! The blog and the collection will need a name, so give me ideas. We'll do a little voting thingy on the top three names unless there is a clear favorite. (I do have a possible name, but it's more fun if I'm not a dictator on all this).

Let's go...ready, start, POST those names!

*The winner will receive their very own copy of The Chicken Cookbook from the 47th National Chicken Cooking Contest. Yes, it's a tiny, cheap little thing without pictures; but 1) it's a pretty good little book, and 2) I have an extra copy.

Thanks susan - but there's still some good ones above!

FWTxn - "HoTRolls" must, at least, be the title of the bread section!

I guess I always assumed that trolls tasted like chicken...so maybe that little cookbook will be quite useful to the contest winner.

Tanks, Lynn!! I'll try to find my "easiest yeast rolls ever" recipe!

Re the taste of Trolls: I doubt that they would taste very good, seeing they're often so full of venom and vinegar. BWTHDIK!!

Cheers! FtWTxn

Now that we have some suggestions, my thought when I wrote this post was
"The Recipes Once Delivered."

"Everything is Jake - Recipes worth a Listen!"

I'm kinda tired of giving headlines to trolls, so my idea for a name does not mention them.

How about a knock off on Julia Child..... :Fr. Jake: The Troll Chef" or "Fr. Jake: The art of Troll Cooking?

Or how about "Trolls: the other white meat." :)

Are we goin to have an email address to send our fav's to?

James (and all) -

I'm just going to set up another blog for the recipe collection...posts will actually be category headings. Cut and paste from all of you - then cut and past into the final document. Plus everyone can look for the recipes at any time - it will take time pressure off of getting a pdf document together (or maybe the blog will be enough!

I think it is nicer to honor the community rather than the trolls. So, how about the Community of The We Recipes.
