Our best hope is to build relationships (world-wide; I'm going to Congo, for instance, next May). Some kind of new life will emerge. God bless us all, one way or another.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1365306689589006129.post-57592855895842654322008-12-04T18:30:00.000-05:002008-12-04T18:30:00.000-05:00As the bumper sticker says: the war on the middle ...As the bumper sticker says: the war on the middle class is going well. Mission Accomplished.

I think what the big THEY forgot is if the middle class is poor, there is no one to buy their products and soon they will be poor too. The economy in Europe in the middle ages didn't start to grow beyond subsistence until the rise of the merchants and trade guilds ie: the middle class.

It won't be too much longer until the big THEY discover that without money, people don't buy and without money beyond food and shelter, people don't buy.

Meantime, people will suffer. We all need to help each other. Neighbors have skills you don't. (A whole new meaning to love your neighbor).

ElizabethAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
